Goals

Our aim is to contribute to a sustainable improvement of the living conditions of needy children and young people in poor countries of Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. This always includes an improvement of the social and socio political circumstances in which children and their families live. more

What we do

All projects and programmes supported by Kindernothilfe use a Child Rights Approach to reach the common main objective: Vulnerable and marginalized children get access to sustainable opportunities to grow and to develop their full potential. We are committed to fight for the fulfillment of all child rights: the rights to provision, the rights to protection and the rights to participation. more

Partnership

Our work abroad is done in close cooperation with local partners. As coordinators or holders of the projects and programmes they are responsible for the work done locally. These represent in terms of size, structure and emphases of their work a large variety of different approaches. We generally operate with partners who are committed to a broad, ecumenical Christian basis. In addition to the immediate work in their projects, they are committed to furthering the rights of children and young people in their country. more
