Association

Kindernothilfe (KNH) was founded in1959 by a group of dedicated Christians in Duisburg, Germany, in order to help needy children in India. Over time, it has become one of the largest Christian organizations in Europe for children's aid. more

Foundation

Kindernothilfe is a charitable organisation which has been working to implement the rights of children for the last 40 years. This can only be done with people committed to help. More and more people wish to give long-term help which goes beyond giving donations. They want the wealth they have accumulated or part of it to prepare the ground for reliable long-term help and create something which will remain for prosperity. more

Advocacy

Kindernothilfe works on national and international levels by joining alliances, co-operating with networks and other organisations to achieve a global improvement of economic, social and political structural conditions. It participates in campaigns or initiates its own campaigns. more

Austria and Switzerland

Kindernothilfe Foundations have been established in Austria and Switzerland. Both are committed to achieve a world in which children and young people can live a life of human dignity, develop their talents and together with their family and community take their development into their own hands. more
